  6. Power C Shell writes configuration information to its host
  7. directory.  Thus, it CANNOT be run directly from the CD-ROM.
  8. Installation is very simple and is described below.

  12. Installation:

  14.      Copy the PCS2.EXE program to the disk or
  15. directory which contains your Power C program files.
  16. See the documentation for startup instructions.

  21.      To print the documentation, type the command:

  26. Editor:

  28.      The public domain editor TDE is included with Power C
  29. Shell.  If you don't have a preferred editor, TDE is an ex-
  30. cellent choice and best of all, it's FREE.  The following
  31. files comprise the TDE package:

  40. Differences in registered version:
  41.  
  42.      There are two differences between this evaluation version
  43. and the registered version:
  44.  
  45.   1)  The registered version does not contain the "nag" screen
  46.       offering you the chance to print a registration form
  47.   
  48.   2)  The registered version allows you to save color configuration
  49.       to the configuration file (in this version, you can switch
  50.       colors, but they are lost upon exiting the program)

  55.      Complete, documented source code for Power C Shell version 2.3
  56. is available for $10.  Use the REGISTER.FRM registration form file
  57. to order.  NOTE: You MUST have the GRAFIX Library Source (an option
  58. with the C/Math Toolchest) from Mix Software to be able to compile
  59. the source code provided.  The GRAFIX Library Source is available 
  60. separately from Mix Software.
